It's a tad off topic, but what I have, actually, is one Linux
installation spread across several partitions. I have /, /boot and /home
so that when I upgrade/reinstall, my personal data isn't affected. Kind
of like putting My Documents on your D: drive instead of C: so that if
you have to nuke/pave/rebuild your Windows box, all your personal stuff
is safe.
